This year, Communications has been running something new — and if you haven’t noticed yet, you might already be behind!
We launched a blog-reading contest as a fun way to keep students engaged with AMS updates. But this isn’t just casual scrolling. Hidden across our blog posts are hints and clues that come together to form a larger puzzle. Your job? Piece them together and solve it.
The catch? The clues have been there since January, scattered everywhere. If you haven’t been reading closely… now might be the time to start digging.

All you have to do is solve the puzzle and email us your answer. That’s it!!!
Prizes are first come, first served, so the earlier you crack it, the better your chances.
The Riddle
Here’s your piece of the puzzle:

He orders pub fries… and then realizes he forgot his wallet.

How to Enter
Once you think you’ve solved it:

Include how you found it (required, because we don’t want you just guessing!)
- Or, you can visit the front desk of the AMS Offices on the first floor of the John Deutsch University Centre (JDUC) with your answer!
- The Director of Comms may not be in the office at the time, so if you would like, you can shoot her a quick email about when you plan to stop by to ensure that she is in at the time!
If you’re right, you’ll snag a prize while supplies last!

Don’t just read the latest posts — go back. The clues have been building since January, and there’s just a little bit of math involved! Happy hunting!
