AMS Endorses Queen’s Backing Action on the Climate Crisis Petition

At November General Assembly, the AMS Assembly approved a motion to support the Queen’s Backing Action on the Climate Crisis petition to divest from all fossil fuels.

Supporting this petition affirms our commitment to environmental sustainability, as outlined in our Principles and Positions Policy. As an organization that represents the interests of undergraduate students at Queen’s, we recognize the urgency of the climate crisis that our constituents face and call on the University to take swift action to address it.
