AMS Clubs in the Grey House
April 22, 2015
KINGSTON, ON – The Alma Mater Society is excited to announce that as of May 1, 2015 the Grey House will become exclusively AMS clubs space. This space redistribution between the AMS and the Society of Graduate and Professional Students (SGPS) was approved by the Student Life Centre (SLC) Council during the meeting of April 21st, 2015. The Grey House was previously shared space between the AMS and SGPS.
The allocation of space within the Grey House will now be determined by the AMS Space Allocation Committee. This group is committed to preserving the important history of the Grey House as a vibrant hub for social justice groups on campus.
“We look forward to continue working with social justice clubs to provide them with the resources they need to thrive on campus. Allowing these students to have a dedicated space to carry out their function will hopefully strengthen the incredible work they already do,” said Philip Lloyd, Vice-President (University Affairs)
