Meet the candidates face-to-face, hear what they stand for, and get a feel for their vision for the Alma Mater Society. Ask the questions you actually care about. Listen to their answers. Watch how they think on their feet. Whether you already have a favourite or are still undecided, Candidates Debate Night is the perfect way to make an informed choice.
Who? What? When? Where?
Come to the Agora in the second floor of the John Deutsch University Centre (JDUC) on Friday, January 23rd at 6:00 PM. The event wIll feature a moderated debate between the presidential candidates, Alex McArthur and Dreyden George, as well as a question period for Avery Papoulidis (Vice-President, Operations) and Edward Sy (Vice-President, University Affairs).
AMS members are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates in advance. If you have paid your AMS membership fee, then you are welcome to complete this brief form by January 22nd at 7:00 PM to share questions or topics you would like addressed during the debate.
