Update on Rector Election
October 4, 2021
Kingston, ON – The AMS Office of the Secretariat has announced that Rector candidate Maya Morcos has succeeded her name from the ballot prior to the voting days of October 1st and 2nd, 2021.
We wish Maya the best and thank her for engaging with the position over the election season. Maya ran a great campaign and connected the position of Rector to many students.
As the ballot will go unfulfilled, the AMS and SGPS will be releasing information regarding resuming a search for a new Rector in the near future, following discussions with the University Secretariat.
