Update on Rector Election

Kingston, ON – The AMS Office of the Secretariat has announced that Rector candidate Maya Morcos has succeeded her name from the ballot prior to the voting days of October 1^st and 2^nd, 2021.

We wish Maya the best and thank her for engaging with the position over the election season. Maya ran a great campaign and connected the position of Rector to many students.

As the ballot will go unfulfilled, the AMS and SGPS will be releasing information regarding resuming a search for a new Rector in the near future, following discussions with the University Secretariat.
