The Bus-It program is back! Bus-It is a contract the AMS negotiates with the City of Kingston through Kingston Transit to provide undergraduate students with unlimited access to Kingston Transit for the academic year. The program is funded through a $180 (as of July 22, 2026) mandatory Student Activity Fee approved by the student body through referendum.
Bus-It provides safe, convenient, and affordable public transit to students, making it easier to get around Kingston throughout the year. To ride, simply tap your Queen’s student card when boarding the bus. Your Bus-It pass is active beginning September 1, 2025, and covers all regular Kingston Transit fares for eligible Queen’s undergraduate students, including during the summer.
