JDUC Haunted Mansion October 29th
Looking for something to do before Halloween?
On October 29, the AMS is transforming the JDUC for the first-ever JDUC Haunted Mansion, with Halloween activities happening throughout the day.
Whether you want to carve a pumpkin, watch a horror movie, walk through our haunted house and escape room, or just stop by for candy, there is something for everyone.

Start the Day With Pumpkin Carving
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., stop by the Peer Support Centre on the 4th floor for pumpkin carving.
Once you’re done, leave your pumpkin on display for a chance to enter the Pumpkin Carving Contest with fun prizes.
We are excited to see your creativity!
Halloween Movie Marathon
If you’re looking for something more lowkey, head to the Polson Room from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. for a Halloween movie marathon.
Drop in, grab some popcorn, and take a break between classes.
Afternoon Lineup
- 12:00–1:27 p.m. — The Addams Family (2019)
- 1:27–2:58 p.m. — Monster House (2006)
- 2:58–4:42 p.m. — Hocus Pocus 2 (2022)
- 4:42–6:22 p.m. — Coraline (2009)
After Dark Lineup
- 6:22–6:47 p.m. — The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror
- 6:47–8:29 p.m. — M3GAN (2022)
- 8:29–10:00 p.m. — Halloween (1978)
Haunted House and Escape Room
From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wallace Hall will be filled with Halloween activities, treats, games, and scares.
You can expect:
- A haunted house
- An escape room
- A Halloween photobooth
- Special CoGro items
- A build-your-own treat bag station
- Games and prizes
- Cotton candy and other treats
There will also be large games including Tetris Tumble, checkers, Plinko, cornhole, Connect 4, and Jenga.
Students will also have opportunities to win prizes throughout the event.
End the Night With Halloween Trivia
Queen’s Pub will also be putting a horror twist on its regular Trivia Night with Halloween-themed trivia.
Grab some friends, test your Halloween knowledge, and end the day strong.

Come by between classes, stop in for one activity, or make a full day out of exploring what’s happening around the JDUC.
