External Investigation Update

In response to posts shared on social media, the Ad-Hoc Committee of the Board engaged an external investigator to investigate allegations relating to a current member of our Permanent Staff. The investigation was completed, and the results were immediately provided to the Ad-Hoc Committee. More details on committee composition can be found in the Committee’s September 2nd statement here.

The result of the investigation is that the allegations were unfounded. Due to confidentiality and privacy obligations the AMS is unable to provide any further information.

The AMS remains committed to a workplace free from harassment, discrimination, and violence. Individuals who wish to make a report concerning the AMS are encouraged to email the Chair of the Board, Jordan Nensi at , or make an anonymous report to the Board of Directors here.

The Ad-Hoc Committee would like to remind the community that the posts shared have consequences for the individuals mentioned within them. It is imperative to ensure submissions are an accurate reflection of events and are treated with the appropriate seriousness.
