Dear students,

Welcome back to Kingston! Please consider this an official notice opening the Fall 2024 Elections & Referenda Season!

In Fall 2024, the election and referenda season will see the following open:

A Fee Referendum, to continue, increase or establish new student activity fees. You can learn more about the fee-referendum by accessing the Validation Package and visiting https://www.myams.org/about/governance/elections/ for more information and to access the validation form and budget templates.

Undergraduate Student Trustee Election.

The Undergraduate Student Trustee represents undergraduate students to the Queen’s University Board of Trustees and is a member of the University Culture Committee. The Board of Trustees governs all the financial and strategic matters of Queen’s University. The Board has 25 members, 3 of whom are students: the Graduate Student Trustee, the Rector, and the Undergraduate Student Trustee. It is the job of the Undergraduate Student Trustee to provide a student perspective to the work of the Board. It is a two-year, volunteer position.
