What We Do
The Campus Affairs Commission oversees the AMS’ presence on campus. We support student life through event sanctioning, running safe and inclusive programming, and advocating for international student affairs.

The commission oversees and administers several AMS grants and bursaries which include:

The Commission offers support for students with events planning and approval through the AMS Event Sanctioning process. We also run events throughout the year for all students.

The AMS Equipment Borrowing Program allows AMS-ratified clubs to borrow a variety of different equipment free of charge to support their events and activities. Equipment can be reserved online through Skedda and picked up in the JDUC.

The AMS International Affairs Office oversees the International Student Mentorship Program, hosts events, and provides resources to support and engage international students at Queen’s.

Pick up your equipment, and return it at the end of your event!
We acknowledge that the Campus Affairs Commission is situated on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee Peoples in Katarokwi, colonial “Kingston.” It is our honour to acknowledge the land we study, work, play, and grow on. Through this acknowledgment, we acknowledge the land, the peoples of Turtle Island, and their connection to this land. We invite everyone to reflect on their benefit and positionality on this land to move toward tangible action and reconciliation. Our words have power, and silence is complacency; let us truly recognize our privilege and honour this land, its history, and its people through all our actions.
