We’re thrilled to introduce this year’s AMS Senior Management Team—an inspiring group of student leaders bringing bold ideas, lived experience, and a passion for student advocacy. From equity and operations to campus life and policy, each member is driven by one mission: to put students first.

Jana Amer (HealthSci ’26) – President 

Represents 20,000+ undergrads to the University, leads AMS governance, oversees seven offices, and drives strategy across all portfolios. 

Elena Nurzynski (ArtSci ’24) – Vice-President (Operations) 

Manages AMS finances and operations, overseeing nine student-run services that power student life on campus. 

Alyssa Perisa (ArtSci ’24) – Vice-President (University Affairs) 

Oversees student advocacy, equity, and external affairs, elevating student priorities in conversations with the city and beyond.
