Halloween Week at the SLC!

October is one of the most exciting times of the year at Queen’s. The leaves turn gold, the air feels crisp, and the Student Life Centre starts to buzz with Halloween excitement. This year, the SLC is ready to celebrate with a full week of spooky fun, creative activities, and sweet treats for everyone.

From October 27 to 31, the building will come alive with decorations, candy, and themed events that make it impossible not to get into the spirit. Whether you want to show off your costume, decorate a cookie, or see what the tarot cards have to say about your future, there is something for everyone.

When you walk into the SLC during Halloween Week, you will notice that things look a little different. The usually bright and welcoming front desk will be transformed into a haunted hub filled with cobwebs, glowing pumpkins, and eerie lights. There might even be a few unexpected visitors hiding behind the counter.

If you love surprises, make sure to stop by and spin the Wheel of Treats. Every spin comes with a different candy prize, and every visit feels a little different from the last. Whether you are a chocolate fan or a gummy lover, there is something waiting for you.

The staff will be dressing up throughout the week, adding to the Halloween atmosphere. You might see your favourite front desk team members dressed as movie characters, superheroes, or something completely unexpected. The Haunted SLC is all about having fun and bringing the community together in a playful way.
