AMS Club Awards
Clubs make unique and important contributions to the Queen’s community. The work that they do ranges from activities that make university feel like home, to giving back to the community, locally or globally; and much more. Each year, the Queen’s Clubs Office recognizes several clubs for their contributions and successes on campus and in the community. The awards are intended to recognize specific facets of club operation that merit recognition.
Award selection is made by the Club Awards Committee of the AMS Assembly, and presented at the annual AMS Awards Gala.
Jeffrey Mccarthy Award for Outstanding Individual Contribution
This award recognizes two individuals who have made an important impact to the clubs community. These are student(s) who are members of a club or multiple clubs, who are recognized for outstanding commitment to the clubs community, and whose work would otherwise go unnoticed.

Jeffrey McCarthy, Con-Ed ‘12, was a Queen’s student who created Queen’s Board Game Club, was the fourth Clubs Manager, created the Clubs Awards, and won an Agnes Benidickson Tricolour Award for his contributions to Queen’s.

Self-nominations are not accepted (any graduate or undergraduate student can nominate another student on-campus)
Nominations must be made for contributions to AMS-ratified clubs.
