Statement of the Judicial Affairs Office on ResSoc Elections
To whom it may concern,
On Tuesday, February 11th, the Judicial Affairs Office received a complaint pertaining to the Residence Society Executive Elections. Please note that the Judicial Affairs Office takes complaints seriously, and an investigation is underway. Additionally, per Part C, section 1.3 of the Judicial Policy, an interim measure has been approved by the Judicial Case Manager, Judicial Disputes Manager, Judicial Committee Chair and Secretariat to withhold the announcement of election results, pending the conclusion of the ongoing proceedings.
We recognize the time sensitive nature of this matter, and the delays that will be caused by Reading Week. We appreciate your patience and understanding. At this time, we ask that the privacy of all involved parties be respected during this process. Any attempt to undermine the ongoing proceeding, may be subject to contempt of the judicial system.
