Designed and led by and for Queen’s equity-deserving students

Collective Reflections

Collective Reflections

The official anti-oppression student publication of the AMS Social Issues Commission. This project is dedicated to uplifting the voices of equity-deserving students and fostering a culture of dialogue and intersectional justice in the Queen’s community. Submissions (including, but not limited to poems, prose, photography, and visual artworks) open at the beginning of the Fall semester and close early Winter semester.

Over a decade ago, the Collective Reflections existed as several independent publications, including Feminist Review, OutWrite, Culture Shock and more!

Equity Library

Equity Library

Explore, learn, and grow with the AMS Equity Library—your hub for books and resources that celebrate diverse identities, challenge injustice, and promote inclusion. Curated to reflect a wide range of lived experiences and perspectives, the Equity Library offers students free access to equity-focused materials through an easy-to-use online catalogue.

Menstrual Equity Project

Menstrual Equity Project

The Menstrual Equity Project provides free, organic, and sustainable menstrual products across campus through washroom dispensers, Take-One-Leave-One baskets, and pick-up kits at key locations. By addressing period poverty and challenging stigma, this initiative ensures that all students—regardless of gender identity or financial situation—can access the products they need. The project also promotes education and advocacy around menstrual health, working towards a campus where equity includes every body.

Personalized Land Acknowledgement Guide

Personalized Land Acknowledgement Guide (Work in Progress)

The Personalized Land Acknowledgement Guide helps students and student leaders create thoughtful, respectful acknowledgements that reflect their relationship to the land and its histories. By using this resource, students can take an active role in promoting reconciliation, amplifying Indigenous voices, and embedding meaningful recognition into initiatives.
