Campus Affairs Commission

Our Vision

To serve and represent the diverse student body at Queen’s University through events, harm reduction, and international affairs.

Meet the Campus Affairs Commission 25-26

We acknowledge that the Campus Affairs Commission is situated on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee Peoples in Katarokwi, colonial “Kingston.” It is our honour to acknowledge the land we study, work, play, and grow on. Through this acknowledgment, we acknowledge the land, the peoples of Turtle Island, and their connection to this land. We invite everyone to reflect on their benefit and positionality on this land to move toward tangible action and reconciliation. Our words have power, and silence is complacency; let us truly recognize our privilege and honour this land, its history, and its people through all our actions.

Yusuf Alrawwaf

Events assistant manager

Hi, my name is Yusuf Alrawwaf and I am the AMS Events Assistant Manager with the Campus Affairs Commission.

In my role, I handle event sanctioning, alongside generally supporting the operations of the Campus Affairs Commission. Once an event is deemed safe and appropriate, it gets sanctioned. Sometimes there are issues with the form, like missing information, and if so, I will reach out to follow up and ensure that everything is in order to be able to sanction the event. A little about me is that I am a second year Health Sciences student and I was raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick. I love to read, play card games, and occasionally go hiking!
