Events

The Social Issues Commission (SIC) is proud to lead a wide range of events throughout the year that promote I-EDIAA (Inclusion, Equity, Diversity, Indigeneity, Accessibility, and Anti-Racism) and student empowerment on campus. These initiatives are organized through our five key portfolios: (1) Indigenous, (2) Black, (3) Queer, (4) Accessibility and (5) Racial, Ethnic, and Cultural.

Each portfolio hosts events and campaigns designed to foster meaningful dialogue, celebrate diverse communities, and provide accessible platforms for advocacy, education, and connection.

Below is our calendar of events for the academic year — we invite all students to participate, learn, and help build a more inclusive Queen’s community.

Check out the Shift Project’s Allyship Belonging Calendar (ABC) for an overview of equity-related initiatives all across campus!
