DESCRIPTION:The Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS) at Queen’s is planning this event because it is rare for the World Cup to be held during the school year\, and two Latin American teams are playing on November 26th. Soccer is a big part of many Latin American (LA) countries\, so we are expecting many LA students to be interested in attending. Ultimately\, this event would be an opportunity for LA students to connect and share part of their cultures. We also welcome non-LA students who are interested in soccer.
