The Vice-President (Operations) is responsible for all matters related to the operations and finances of the society. Responsible for AMS Service and AMS Assembly budgets, the VP (Operations) oversees the three services directors, the Advancement and Development Officer, the Information Technology Officer, and the Sustainability Coordinator. Other duties include supervision of the Health & Dental Plan and the Bus-It program. The VP (Operations) also represents students on a wide variety of Board of Trustee and University committees including, Campus Planning and Development, Capital Planning Committee, and the John Deutsch University Centre Council. This year, the VP-Ops will also oversee the portfolios of the AMS media services: CFRC, Studio Q, and the Journal.
