TA Award

The Christopher Knapper Award

Each year, the AMS honours two teaching assistants who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the education of undergraduate students of Queen's University. This is the most prestigious award that students can bestow on their teaching assistants.

The award is named in honour of Christopher Knapper, the founding Director of the Queen's Instructional Development Centre (now the Centre for Teaching and Learning). The Centre exists to support, advise and facilitate improvements and developments in the teaching abilities of both professors and teaching assistants.
