Project Outreach for Secondary School Education (POSSE)

The mandate of Project Outreach for Secondary School Education (POSSE) is to use the unique resources available from various student groups at Queen's University to create skits to perform for students (primarily at the secondary school level). These skits expose students to relevant social issues such as racism, sexism, classism, ablism, and homophobia through dramatic presentation and comprehensive workshops.

Education on Queer Issues Project (EQuIP)

The ultimate goal of the Education On Queer Issues Project (EQuIP) is to create a Queer-positive environment for the Queen's and Kingston Community. Members of EQuIP lobby for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transidentified rights, and work to inform and educate the Queen's student body on relevant LGBTQ issues.

The office and lounge is located on the second floor of the Grey House, which is located next to Victoria Hall. Office hours are held during the fall and winter terms and run Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 5:30 pm

Mental Health Awareness Committee (MHAC)

The Mental Health Awareness Committee (MHAC) works to heighten students awareness of mental health issues. It aims to educate the Queen's community about the truths of mental illness, to promote methods of maintaining healthy lifestyles, and to eliminate the stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness.

Queen's Multicultural Festival (Name and Mandate are in transition)

The Festival will be a week long celebration of the variety of groups represented at Queen's. This will be an extremely inclusive event that will invite all different types of cultures to participate...religious, cultural, queer and beyond. The committee will act as a facilitating and marketing body, also booking speakers and organinizing panel discussions.
