1) Pre-Game Preparations
Every participant must register February 11 to February 15, 2008 at the CAC Office in the JDUC. The cost to play is $2 per player can be dropped off at the CC office during its normal business hours. At that time, the participant will receive their clothespin. The participant will receive the name of their target by email for the start of the game on February 25, 2008. This will also happen at the beginning of each round.
2) Basic rules
The objective of Catch Me If You Can is to become the last participant remaining in the game in hopes of winning $1000. Each participant begins the game with a clothespin and the name of another participant who they are charged with eliminating from the game. To catch your target, you must clothespin them on any part of their clothing below their head and without being overly physical. Getting caught, by a clothespin, makes you immediately eliminated from the game and the eliminated player is then responsible to tell their target’s name to the player who caught them. This name becomes the new target for that player. Additionally the player who caught their target is responsible to report their catch to the main Catch Me If You Can email:

Round 2:
All remaining participants will play against their year regardless of faculty. Only the top 90 participants left in the game will move onto the third round. Rankings will be judged based on:

2. How many people you have caught during the course of the game
3. If two participants have the same number of catches, then the participant with more catches in Round 2 will move on
Round 3:
The top 90 participants will play against each other with another 10 wild card participants. Participants will be ranked based on the criterion above. 7) Safe Zones
These zones are safe 24 hours a day, regardless of circumstances.
· Your Home: an indoor location that you eat, sleep and shower at regularly and that you can afford with a financial fee of some sort.
· Washrooms: an indoor location where a minimum of one sink and one toilet can be found. The entire room is perceived safe including the double door entrance
· Office: an indoor location where you are registered and recognized as an employee or volunteer. The entire indoor location owned by the organization for their office space is safe, which means that if you work for The Journal or Walkhome, the Journal house/Walkhome kiosk is safe. With that said if you work for the Athletics, the PEC isn’t safe, only your office is
· Motorized Vehicle: any vehicle that moves with the help of a motor engine
· Classroom and Laboratories: anywhere on campus where a registered and official academic source is taking place. There does not need to be a class in the classroom for it to be safe. The entire building is not safe, only the rooms in which classes are held. Be careful since disturbing the administration could cancel the game as a whole
· Religious Facilities: you are safe where you practice your religious rituals. You are only safe in the immediate enclosed space in which you observe your religion. You are not safe in any of the rooms outside or adjacent to the one central religious enclosed area. This includes the basement, atrium, offices, or foyer. It is strongly recommended to respect the area in which players engage into prayer or other moments involving silence and concentration
· Queen’s Faculty offices: if you are asking about your exam, then you are safe from capture
8) Dangerous Zones
These are the most common and contested catches year after year, at all of which you are not safe.
·Fake Home: somewhere you decided to eat, sleep and/or shower during the game and that is afforded by another person with a financial fee of some sort
· Outside: everywhere outside is fair game, even if there is work-related or personal reason that makes you travel outside. Beware of ice in the winter!
· Extra-Curricular Activity: whether it is an student assembly, a varsity game, a drama, a political campaign, or even a food drive for the poor, any event for an extra-curricular will not be safe before, during, and after the activity is not held in a safe zone. This also includes work related events, such as meetings and conferences, that are not held in your office or any space previously classified as safe
· Club: you are not safe at Alfies, QP, Stages and any other location meant for socializing unless you are registered to work there (i.e. Office)
· Athletic Facilities: whether it be watching a game at Jock Hardy Arena or training those biceps at the PEC, you must be ready to run at all times because none of these places are safe
· Libraries/Study Rooms: you can gather in a meeting room in Goodes with your teamwork agenda or simply sit down at the fourth floor of Stauffer’s Library – just as long as you remember you are not safe.
· Restaurants and Cafeterias: not only are you not safe on a date at Gusto’s but you also need to hide if you feel like a toxic meal at Ban RIgh or Leonard. This is usually where the most spectacular catches occur year after year
· Lobbies: a Ceiliedh, Atrium or Lounge, they can crash it whenever they please and you won’t be able to contest that
