Queen’s TV announces webcasting partnership for CIS Men’s Volleyball Championship

Queen’s TV (QTV) is excited to announce that they will be producing webcasting coverage of the CIS 2012 Men’s Volleyball Championship. The live webcast of the championship tournament will be produced and directed by Queen’s TV and all core roles in the broadcast will be staffed by QTV’s student volunteers.
“This is an exciting initiative to have student’s take a leadership role in expanding university sports broadcast in Canada,” says QTV, Executive Producer, Eugene Michasiw. “To my knowledge, this will be one of the most elaborate webcasts of a CIS championship to date.” In accordance with the CIS’s existing partnership with iSi Global Webcasting, the webcasts will be exclusively available at SSNCanada.ca, however they will include QTV branding.
“We are looking forward to hosting a great championship in March, and are delighted to have our webcast partners QTV integrated and adding to the overall event delivery. In collaboration with QTV, Athletics & Recreation has offered Gaels fans a weekly webcast with solid production quality that has seen growing viewership over the course of the year," says Leslie Dal Cin, Director, Athletics and Recreation. "For the CIS Volleyball Championship, QTV and the CIS’s webcast partner SSN will collaborate on the webcast delivery and we are confident that this partnership will result the best possible level of production and coverage.”
