CFRC 101.9FM presents: The Swappin' Spree Sunday, October 16, 2011

KINGSTON, ON – CFRC 101.9FM, Kingston's only campus-community radio station, presents its first ever Swappin’ Spree at Wallace Hall in the John Deutsch University Centre, at the corner of Union and University, on Sunday, October 16 from 12-5pm.

The Swappin’ Spree is a large-scale clothing swap and fundraising thrift sale.  Admission is free with a clothing donation, and all clothing items are just $1 each.  Plus there will be a free table, CFRC merchandise and information, with live DJs providing quality music.

Cash proceeds will support free broadcast training programs at CFRC, the non-profit, volunteer-driven, community radio station based at Queen’s since 1922.  Extra clothing items will be donated to Dawn House and the Canadian Diabetes Association’s Clothesline program.
