Do you wish that you had the opportunity to get help in one or more subjects with which you had difficulty in highschool?

One of the major goals of this committee is to develop a link between local high school students and the Queen’s community, through the management of an extremely successful tutoring program. In recent years, they have been able to provide service to over 100 high school students! This committee also runs seminars in local highschools in conjunction with the Highschool Liaison Committee on important issues like university preparation and how to succeed in school.

This is a great way to share and impart the academic skills at which you excel, develop a relationship with local highschool students and make a difference in the academic careers of younger students. HYPE also presents a great way to volunteer in a setting that fits in with your schedule.

Volunteer as a tutor, committee member, or in one of the other activities offered by this committee!
