Queen’s students can ride the bus for FREE! This is called
the AMS Bus-it service and is provided to you by Destinations. Common destinations
for Queen’s Students and buses that frequent these locations:

Yellow Bike Action
Yellow Bike Action is a volunteer-run space that provides
affordable bicycles and bike repairs for Kingston residents. They always need
volunteers: experiences mechanics and those wanting to learn more about
bicycles. YBA gladly accepts donations of bikes, tools, and parts

Cyclepath
A great source for bike parts and maintenance. They can
answer all of your bicycle-related questions. They also provide rental
bikes. Call the store for more details.

Going home?
Buses
Destinations provides the Tricolour Express every weekend to
Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal at student prices! On Thanksgiving and reading
week, the Tricolour has more destinations in Southern Ontario.
You can also take Coach Canada or Greyhound buses (schedules
and fares are available online), and you can get to the station easily by train.

You can also receive a significant student discount with an ISIC card
(can be purchased at Destinations).
Carpooling
AMS Marketplace
Need to get somewhere at a certain time and no
buses/trains available? Check out the AMS Marketplace at rides which are
posted. You can also post a time for when you need a ride.
Classified Board in the JDUC
In the lower JDUC in the Breezeway
(enroute to the Used Book Store) there is a classified board on which many
people post rides available or rides needed.
