WE NOW TAKE AND PRINT ISIC PHOTOS IN THE STORE ($4) If you want to bring in your own photo, it must be in COLOUR (HIGH RESOLUTION) and measured 3cm wide by 3.5 cm long, or 1.1in wide by 1.4in long. (Slightly smaller then a passport photo) Destinations is one of only three locations in Kingston where you can get your International Student Identity Card. The ISIC is an internationally recognized and accepted card, available to all students who may use it for travel, retail and food discounts. Many Canadian travel services accept ISIC Cards and offer generous financial discounts to its holder; VIA Rail discounts regular fares nearly 35%, meaning a 1-way trip to Toronto that would usually cost $80.56 would only cost an ISIC holder $51.94, a savings of $28.62 on 1 trip! You can also save 50% off the regular adult fare by purchasing a VIA 6 PAK (6 one way trips between any two cities). That means the one way trip cost between Toronto and Kingston becomes $40.28. This is only $10 more than the tricolour express. Flights are also discounted when booked through Odyssey Travel. The cost of an ISIC is only $16 ($20 for card/photo), and is valid during the school year you purchase it in until the following December.
