QUMSA stands for the Queen's University Muslim Students' Association. We act as a focal point for Muslim students to meet for various acts of worship. What makes your club unique?: (1) To give an opportunity to the members of the association to come in close contact with one another. (2) To strengthen the bonds among Muslim students. (3) To help the Muslim students at Queen's to live according to the Quran, to train them to practice Islam and preserve their identity as Muslims. (4) To provide Muslim students with Islamic literature. (5) To provide opportunities for meeting, discussion, and celebrating collectively, Islamic activities. (6) To make Islam better understood by Muslim and non-Muslim students. (7) To promote friendly relations between the Muslim and non-Muslim students at the university. (8) To provide Muslim and non-Muslim students with qualified speakers on Islam. (9) To provide guidance to new Muslim students in matters of orientation and other pertinent problems. (10) To provide educational help in terms of books, etc., to members.
