Update: Walkhome is  now opening early at 6pm! We are still open until 2am on Sunday-Wednesday and 3am on Thursday-Saturday.

What We Do

When a patron requests a walk, a team comprised of one male and one female staff member is dispatched to the patron's location, where they will safely accompany the individual to their destination of choice. Using Walkhome is completely anonymous, as our staff members do not wear a visible uniform and only use their Walkhome tags to identify themselves.

To ensure safety, all Walkhome teams are equipped with a radio, which allow them to have direct communication with the Walkhome supervisor on shift, or with Queen's Campus Security or Queen's First Aid if necessary.

Our boundaries are South to Lake Ontario, West to just past West Campus, North to York St. and East to Ontario Street (near the Causeway).

Whether it is to stay safe or just to have a chat on the way home, please take Walkhome as much as possible. This service is for absolutely everyone and we encourage its use at all times of the year. We are open year round and always happy to go on a walk, so feel free to stop by and see us any time!
